Frequently Asked Questions
What formats are supported?
You can convert interchangeably between JPG, PNG, and WebP formats.
What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?
Since JPEG does not support transparency, transparent areas are rendered onto your chosen background color (default white #FFFFFF, black, gray, or custom hex).
Can I adjust compression quality?
Yes! A quality slider (10% to 100%, default 90%) is available for JPG and WebP outputs. PNG uses lossless compression, so quality adjustment does not apply.
Can I resize images during conversion?
Yes. You can choose scaling presets (100%, 75%, 50%, 1080px width, 800px width) or enter custom width and height with aspect ratio locking.
Does this tool support batch conversions and ZIP download?
Yes. You can upload multiple images simultaneously, monitor per-file progress, and download all converted files in a single ZIP archive.
Can I convert animated WebP images?
Animated WebP files convert the first frame. Multi-frame animation export is not supported.
What is the maximum file size?
The tested in-browser processing limit is 50 MB per file, with up to 100 MB total batch size.
